Swim time!

Swim break

Cutie. Both of them.

Bass River

When people asked us what we were hoping to catch as we launched from the beach, my only response was, It's called Bass River, isnt it? Duh.
We actually caught scup after scup. Tyler caught the first, the most and the smallest fish (notably, a bass!). I caught the biggest fish! Next time we will bring a ruler and maybe eat some fishy.

Remember, the Duck Cops have ALL the authority

Fishing becomes much more fun when you actually catch fish!
Finally figured it out!

Tyler shows me how
to hold the fish to remove the  hook.

On this trip, I totally baited my own hook. This is gross for many reasons. One, you have to cut a worm in sections. Two, they poop. Three, they look like this (JUST like this, actually!).

here fishy fishy

 Such a happy man.

The day started out great with Tyler's first cast catching two fish. Look at that grin!

Willie

Ran from the house down to Cohasset to the South Shore Music Circus. Found great parking. Our secret! We were able to zip in and out super easy and avoid the parking lot. Anyway, I digress. Willie was great. Man, he is starting to show his age, but that voice has not changed. Maybe gotten better. We were definitely in the minority age group, but there was a woman about my age who knew all the words to the songs. And a gentleman behind us MmmMMMing to about every song. Oh, we just laughed! Willie's hair is luxurious. He looked like a luxurious ghost as his hair feathered in the breeze. The weather was perfect. We were in a tent and it was just a little humid, and the stage rotates, so you get full view of everything going on. The pianist was probably the unsung hero of the night. The harmonica-ist (? how do you say that?) was really really good. The upright bass was the most attractive and least played. The drummer looked like he was about to fall off a horse. And then Willie. Willie was just wonderful. I swear he smiled and waved at me!

Look at that silky ripply hair. i wonder if he conditions.
LOVE the woman wearing the bandanna Willie threw at her!
Her friend caught it and promptly handed it over!

Roll me up and smoke me when I die. WN

Weekend roll up

On Friday we packed up the car. It was about to rain. I think it was the fastest time we loaded the boats in a long time. Or maybe ever.

Oh boy ---Fishin'!

We're going to the Cape this weekend and Tyler lost his last fishing pole, so we rushed another one to the house. The living room was carnage last ngiht as he opened all his toys, a new rod and reel. The very easy to change fishing line porved to be very difficult, but with some help of good old internet and struggling and swearing, he got it. We're ready to go!

Walk

Another walk and another healthy meal. 2.95m.
