Alaskan Wilderness

Loved this swing by the riverside
Some alaskan wildfire flowers
Was so happy to learn that this boat was not powered by diesel. We had just spent 8 hours on a train, I didnt think I could do the motion, rain, and diesel! This thing MOVED. The guy said that once it got going, it could power through as little as 6 inches of water! Neat!

Our 'snack' was the best homemade fried/baked dough we'd ever had. Too bad we had to share! It was made by a one toothed man wearing a Stealers shirt, which I had really hoped was a Bruins shirt from afar. One of the nicest, knowledgable persons I've met.

Fur me! Sorry all, but this is a true way of life up here. And I have no problem with that. They actually go out and trap and hunt, instead of raising things in cages.

Our gold panning troughs

The stages of panning for gold. Tip - dont use the ridges in the pan!

Me too!
Uh, so Tyler totally wants one of these as a pet now. He fell in love with the snotty one.
