Carnival!

While I barely walk during my work day, when Tyler and I do the city, we walk all over town. This weekend was no exception. On Saturday we took the subway to Kendall for the Carnival festivities. Then we walked from Kendall to Harvard. Some documentation of our journey:

This weekend was another great haul from our garden.

Backyard marinara

Tyler tended garden this weekend and we are starting to get quite a bit at a time now. So he got right to work peeling and stewing a variety of tomatoes. Plum, yellow heirlooms, green heirlooms fallen off the vine, and red backyard beauties. Added a dash of oregano, basil, salt and pepper and bay leaf. Rich and clean tasting. Can't wait till the weather cools down a bit to indulge. 

Walking home
