Mixations
Yellow verbena infused vodka hit the bar cart today!
We had some sweet bottles left over from organic soda (from your regular old grocery store - I think they were moved to the Organic aisle about 15 years after they had been selling. Washed/scrubbed the label off and it becomes our own! Added yellow verbena stalks first, and gently poured vodka in with a funnel. Now to let it sit and seep loveliness in flavor. And while we wait, we have a beautiful bottle to look at on our bar cart. Better advertising than any other label? No label at all. African basil and orange mint concoctions to come. We'd love your recipe ideas!

Cocktail creation
We have so many lovely herbs on our back porch (back porch oasis photos and plants to come), that we started muddling this summer. This is really Tyler's creation. Light, refreshing and Delish! We call it the Claremon 15. Seasoned with yellow verbena. Bet you never would have guessed THAT one! Yum.
