A Beauty
Our Bonsai Disaster
So over the summer we took an awesome bonsai class at Bonsai West in Littleton, MA. It was a couples class, and for a mere $135 we got a two+ hour training, and walked away with 3 plants, potted, trimmed, and ready to go!
Unfortunately, we are not good plant parents when it comes to fancy watering systems. The whole dunk and bubble and drain didn't really work for us. Whose sink is that big or that clean all the time? So here are our dried up specimens before they hit the compost. We do recommend going to this class, just be ready for picky watering systems that you may not be able to deal with in the winter. Or at all.

Monday Funday
I took the day off yesterday just to take a "Sun"day. It was beautiful! About 64 and not a cloud in the sky. On Thursday I had emailed my boss ... "ummm, since Monday is supposed to be near 70, can I get first refusal on a day off?" My boss is so awesome - Yes!
It's so nice to do things during other people's business hours. Some of you might wonder why I dont use Saturday and Sunday to do errands. Every try going to the shipping store, cobbler, make returns at the retailer, call the dentist office and doctors office on the weekend? Doubt it. The fact that I can do all of that in an hour on a weekday, and it would take me the weekend and all my lunch breaks to do it otherwise is ridiculous.
So I cleaned the house, watered and rearranged the plants again, and got all my errands done. And still had time for a lazy evening of TV with Tyler and taping for my next project. More to come on that.

Reunited and it feels so good!
The boys really turned it up a notch last night. As far and close spread as we are, everyone made the effort to meet up. Alaska, Brooklyn, Westminni, Cambridge, Ashburnham and Somerville. Some of us still live right around the corner and you'd never know it by how much we actually see each other. The only guy that had "THE ONLY EXCUSE" for not being there just had a beautiful babe with his beautiful wife and well, that is the only excuse for not coming in.
In true fashion, Tyler and I went to bed before these a-holes. Before them is still 3 AM. They were up till 6 AM. Thanks for not trashing the house guys, you have managed to grow up a little! Glad to have you and all the ladies too!

Well, it all started when Tyler surprised me by wallpapering the freezerbox with some of my wrapping paper. I never thought he would do it because I suggested wallpapering it another time, and he was not into the idea. I love love love it! So glad he did it. A beautiful spark of inspiration.
Lots of edited stuff -
Cali, Passport beer fest, Halloween, Star, Europe, beers, Matt and Lisa's wedding, Disney, Monopoly
