Veal Stew

Is delicious. I highly recommend it. Cumin, veal, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes...Whatever secret ingredients Tyler adds. Yum. Savory. Delicious.

Yeah, I know we need to clean it! Whatever.

Typical Dinner Night

Tonight we had eggplant parm, garlic bread, and cauliflower - which if you dont like, i suggest eating with pepper and marinara sauce.
Oh yeah, pasta is going in that bowl. Just a few minutes more!
The meal was made with no butter. But I've had lots of wine, so I think it balances out.

Cupcake supper

Key Lime Cupcakes. Do I need to say more? No, but I will. Tyler asked what I wanted for supper. Since I knew I wasnt going to feel well enough in the next few days to eat much, I answered Cupcakes. Of course he smiled and said Ok. He is the best, ya know! Oh, we had a little turkey chili too. When I say a little I mean small side salad size bowl of chili to like 6 cupcakes. Ogle those key lime deliciousnesses!

Tyler of course made up the recipe. Knowing how much I LOOOOOVE key lime pie (I promise it's not of a certain SHO series level). We have here a white cake, lime juice and zest base. And some secret ingredients that make them MOIST-ass cupcakes, not dry-assed cupcakes.
Tyler says the dents help hold on the frosting.
I am skeptical that he is just hiding that he squished
their brain tops trying to get them out of the pan...
Top with cream cheese lime frosting and coconut and farkles. Yep, not a spelling mistake.  Viola!

Some delicious turkey chili.

Midnight Cookies

Why I love My Love? Well, for one thing, he doesn't blink about making cookies at 11:50 at night. Yum!

These delicious guys have golden raisons, dried cranberries, dried cherries, and something else? in them! And we ran out of brown sugar, so Tyler used molasses and honey. They were sooo light and fluffy and subtly sweet. So good!

Chocolate Doughnut Waffles!

Cold Thursday night right after a sick day. All our blankets are at the laundry for winter cleaning. What do I want for dinner? Waffles! And Tyler, like always, obliges to my cooking cravings. In return I had to boil and peel the tomatoes for backyard sauce. So I go to get the waffle maker and see the little cake maker that we use to make doughnuts. So now I want chocolate munchkins. Tyler makes them so good! What do I get? Chocolate waffle doughnuts! My husband is the most creative! And they are DELICIOUS!

Chocolate Doughnut Waffle Batter                                           We listened to the new Mastadon album - The Hunter and its awesome awesomeness. I boiled and peeled heirloom tomatoes. Tyler sang and swore. Good thing he put those paper towels down - the batter was leaky! Any excuse to use powdered sugar, right? Welcome to Tyler's test kitchen!

     Prep and cook.
It took a few test runs to find the best cook time. Third time's the charm! Light and fluffy!

VOILA!
