Train

Slowly, I post. I know. 

Ok, so after Seattle, we headed to the airport in the evening and made a quick departure for Anchorage. We arrived there after 12. The kids who worked at The Anchorage Downtown Hotel were awesome. They picked us up as soon as we called, dropped us off, we checked in smoothly and set about a million alarms so we could get up around 6AM for an 8:15 train departure. The hotel provided breakfast and a free ride to the train too! What more could we ask for spending less than 10 hours in the city?

We arrived at the train station, checked in and boarded a bus to go less than a mile to board the train. Logistically, it actually made sense once we did it.

Ah. the train! We've been waiting for this a looong time!

So many cocktails we had! Start off with a spiked hot chocolate.
